Tuli Kupferberg, author and poet of the beat generation of the 1950's and 1960's. He is mentioned in the Allen Ginsberg poem "Howl" as the man who jumped off the Brooklyn Bridge. He was a founding member of the band "The Fugs". He wrote the songs "Morning Morning" made famous by Richie Havens, "Kill for Peace", and "Carpe Diem". He wrote the book "Beatniks" and "1001 Ways to Beat the Draft", among several others.
