Funeral services for Ura L. Huffman, 86, of Goldthwaite, will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 8 at Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doug Holtzclaw officiating. Interment will follow in Goldthwaite Memorial Cemetery.
Mrs. Huffman died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, at Brownwood Regional Medical Center.
She was born April 29, 1918, in Hamilton County to Worth S. Lee and Katie Barnes Lee. In 1962, she married Jimmie Huffman.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Prentiss Dale Head; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; five brothers; and one sister.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmie Huffman, of Goldthwaite; a son Charles Head and his wife, Dolores, of Trinity; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandsons; one step-grandson; one sister, Violet Ward, of Wells; a daughter-in-law, Helen Trigg of Houston; and a number of nieces and nephews.
