Elizabeth was born to James and Bridget (Jennings) O'Connor. On June 4, 1878, Elizabeth married Lawrence "Larry" Farley at St. Teresa's Catholic Church in what is now Beresford, SD. Her death occurred on the day of the birth of her eleventh child, Thomas Farley. She was survived by her husband, her parents, and ten of her children.
