Daughter of Franklin Pierce Lentz (1852 - 1906) and Clara Atilla Olewine (1853 - 1927)

Elizabeth was a member of The Order of the White Crane. She was descended (on the maternal side) from a Chippewa chief.

The society was instituted about 1897 and incorporated in 1916. The society was organized by Dr. J. G. B. Bullard, the Indian Agency physician at Pima, Arizona, after conversations with one Henry W. Warren of Minnesota, was named for "White Crane, the Hereditary Chief of the Ancient Tribe of the Ojibway Indians, now called the Chippewas" the descendants of Aztec, Indian, or Toltec kings or of colonial settlers before 1783.
