Juanita Marie Ashley, 88, of Paducah passed away Saturday at her home. Mrs. Ashley was a member of Broadway Baptist Church. She was a volunteer at Lourdes Hospital for twenty years and also at the RSVP for ten years. She was the recipient of the President's Call to Service Award. She is survived by one daughter, Helen Phillips and husband Darrell of Florida; two sons, Ronnie H. Ashley and wife Jo of Paducah and Roger W. Ashley I and wife Kim of Paducah; one sister, Mabel Harwood of Woodstock, IL ; one brother, Bud Garrison of Woodstock, IL; nine grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren; and one great great great grandchild. Mrs. Ashley was preceded in death by her husband, F.M. Corkey Ashley; her parents, Charles H. and Dora Ann Bailey Garrison; one son, Lonnie Ashley; three sisters; eight brothers; and one granddaughter, Angela Marie Ashley. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011 at the Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Paul Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodville Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
