George H. Bowman, 83, of Ephrata, entered into rest at Ephrata Manor, Ephrata on Thursday, September 3, 2009.
He was born in Lancaster, a son of the late George L. and Myrtle Reddig Bowman. He was the husband of Helen L. Wolf Bowman.
George served in the U. S. Navy on the USS Marcab in the South Pacific and had worked as an experimental shop foreman for the former Sperry New Holland. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing pinochle.
