Professional Motorcycle Race Driver. Three-time American Motorcycle Association national road racing champion. His racing career accomplishments include: Won AMA 250 Grand Prix in 1983; Won Formula One title in 1986; Won the Pro Twins Series in 1989. In all, Randy won a total of 17 AMA Nationals in 4 different classes. He earned 5 podium finishes in the Daytona AMA 250 Grand Prix race (his favorite race). Awarded AMA Sportsman of the Year in 1998. He died as a result of head injuries suffered in a fall down a flight of stairs.
