OBITUARY :
MRS. SARAH ELLEN (HARSHMAN) MARKER, 67, wife of Charles E. Marker, died Sunday at her home at Smithsburg R. D. 2. She had been ill for the last four weeks, and confined to her bed since Saturday noon. She had been suffering from a heart ailment.

She was born in Frederick county, the daughter of Cornelius and Clara Hoover Harshman, and had lived at her present residence for the last 32 years.

She was a member of the Welty Church of the Brethren.

She is survived by her husband and the following children, Mrs. Howard Reese, Hagerstown, Naomi, Edith and Edgar Marker, at home, three grandchildren, one brother, Roy Harshman, and a half-brother, Jasper Morgan, both of Wolfsville.

Funeral services this afternoon in Welty's church in charge of Rev. H. M. Stover and Rev. C. R. Celling. Interment made in the Smithsburg cemetery.
