Among his other films were: "A Tale of Two Cities" (1935), "Mr. Deeds Goes to Town" (1936), "Lost Horizon" (1937), "You Can't Take it With You" (1938), "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" (1939), "The Devil and Daniel Webster" (1941), "It's a Wonderful Life" (1946) and "The Ten Commandments" (1956). He also appeared in Billy Wilder's "Sunset Boulevard" (1950).
