COOKEVILLE -- Funeral services for Paul Selby, 78, of Cookeville, will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, March 14, from the Cookeville Chapel of Hooper-Huddleston & Horner Funeral Home. Burial will be in Cookeville City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, March 13, and from 10 a.m. until time of services on Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Selby died Thursday, March 10, 2011, in NHC Healthcare of Cookeville.

Mr. Selby died Thursday, March 10, 2011, in NHC Healthcare of Cookeville.
He was born Nov. 14, 1932, in White County to the late Staley and Pearl Brown Selby.
Mr. Selby earned his B.S. Degree in Business Administration in 1958, from Tennessee Tech University. He founded and operated American Car Washes and Mini Warehouses. He was also a licensed general contractor and built many houses in the Cookeville area.
Mr. Selby was a member of Willow Avenue Church of Christ. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He also served on the local Workforce Board of UCHRA.
His family includes his wife, Virginia Selby (whom he married Nov. 3, 1962, in White County); a son, Chad Selby of Nashville; and a niece, Lavonna Judd of Sparta.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Selby.
Pallbearers will be Billy Carr, Willard Mills, Hugh Birdwell, Oliver Hill, Gary Medley and Bob Wood.
Honorary pallbearers will be Gene Hooper, Harold Robinson, James McKee, Dibrell Anderson, Jeff Freeman and Leon Foster.
Memorial donations may be made to Willow Meals, c/o Willow Avenue Church of Christ, 1150 South Willow Ave., Cookeville, TN 38501.
Bros. Clarence DeLoach and Jeremiah Tatum will officiate at the services.
