"Sherda M. Watson was born Sept. 25, 1880 and died Sept. 22, 1888. He was a son of D. D. Watson, of Washington township, this county, and was taken sick at Waynesburg during the last day of the fair. He attended Sabbath school at Hazel Green, and was a bright little boy. The funeral took place on Sabbath at 2 p. m. The funeral sermon was preached by Rev. A. J. Meek. The interment was made in the North Ten Mile burying ground."
