MUNCIE--N. Jean Timmons, 85, passed away Sunday afternoon at her residence following an extended illness. She was born in Clinton, IN, the daughter of Oscar L. and Lela A. (Winningham) Aynes, attended Anderson High School, and moved to Muncie in 1943.
Surviving are six children, Rita Hunt (husband-John), Yorktown, Patty Garrett (husband-Mike), Yorktown, Ann Williams (husband-Larry), Muncie, Fred "Tim" Timmons, Jr. (wife-Leslie), Daleville, Evelyn Griminger (husband-Rick), Springfield, IL, and Kristi Pittsenbarger, Yorktown; a sister, Betty Pryer, Pasadena, TX; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 50 years, Fred Timmons, Sr.; a son, Myron Timmons; a sister; and four brothers.
Private family services will be held with cremation to follow.
