Beverly Pierson Madsen returned home December 31, 2000.

She was born Dec. 13, 1922 at home in Sandy, Utah to Wilford and Hazel Reynolds Pierson. Married Howard F. Madsen April 10, 1942 in Inglewood, California. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.

Beverly faithfully served in any calling, but she especially loved the children. She was truly a dedicated wife, mother, grand-mother and child of God.

She is survived by her true love, Howard; daughters, Laurie and Susan; grandchildren, Beverly, Tyson, Sadie, Alisha and Madison; mother; sister, Betty Jo Mumford; brother, Lynn R. Pierson; and many others who knew and loved her.

Services will be Friday, January 5, 2001 at 11 a.m. at the Hillcrest 9th Ward Chapel, 915 Peach Blossom Dr. (9140 South) Friends may call at Goff Mortuary 8090 So. State Thursday 6-8 p.m. and Friday at the church from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery.
