Alfred E. Autenrieth
September 23, 1995:

Alfred E. Autenrieth, age 91, of Tebbetts, Missouri, died Saturday, September 23, 1995 at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Mr. Autenrieth was born December 4, 1903, at Bluffton, Missouri, the son of Julius Casper and Lena Josephine (Geringer) Autenrieth. He was married to Viola Caroline "Carrie" Howard who preceeded him in death on December 2, 1984.

He attended the Callaway County Schools and the Montgemery County Schools. He was a member of the Tebbetts United Methodist Church, the I.0.0.F. Lodge No.596 of Tebbetts. He had served on the Callaway Electric Board, the Tebbetts United Methodist Church Board, the Riverview Cemetary Board and the Farm Bureau Board. Mr. Autenrieth had been a farmer and had also been a sales representive for seed corn with the DeKalb Company.

Survivors include two sons, Alfred W. "Sonny" Autenrieth and Kennard Autenrieth, both of Tebbetts, Missouri; one daughter, Mrs. Lena Mae Stock of Tebbetts, Missouri; one brother, Oscar Autenrieth of Fulton, Missouri; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.

He was preceeded in death by one daughter, Mary LaVerne Johnston who died on December 3, 1992.

Services were Tuesday at Tebbetts United Methodist Church with the Reverands Harold Ferrell and Dave Paques officiating.

Burial was in the Riverview Cemetary. An I.0.0.F. service took place Monday at the Buescher Memorial Home in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Memorials were suggested to the Tebbetts United Methodist Church.
