Nettie Lou Poole, 75, of Derwood, died Nov. 25, 2002, at Montgomery General Hospital in Olney.
Born Aug. 6, 1927, in BuckLodge a daughter of the late Jacob and Beulah Johnson, she was the wife of the late Raymond E. Poole.
Mrs. Poole was a graduate of Poolesville High School. She retired from Safeway as a cashier after approximately 25 years of service. She was a former member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Germantown and more recently had attended United Methodist Temple in Lakeland, Fla., and the Oakdale Emory United Methodist Church in Olney.
She is survived by three daughters, Sally J. Staley of Mt. Airy, Diana L. Davis of Derwood and Joy D. Bowling of Lakeland, Fla.; six grandchildren, Walter "Stoney" Davis of Mt. Airy, Michelle I. Adcock of Martinsburg, W. Va., George Stanley Davis Jr. of Mt. Airy, David L. Davis Jr. of Clarksburg and Ronald E. Bowling Jr. and Cory S. Bowling of Lakeland, Fla.; a sister, Beatrice Lacetti of Germantown; and two brothers, Jacob Johnson of Frederick and Frank Johnson of Martinsburg, W. Va.
Funeral services were held Nov. 30 at Oakdale Emory United Methodist Church, Olney. Burial was in Monocacy Cemetery, Beallsville.
