Myrtle Hudson Roe passed away at 3:30 a.m. Thursday, March 10, 2011, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Center. She was 82 and a resident of Denham Springs. She retired from Uniroyal. Visitation at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs, on Friday, March 11, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home chapel Saturday, March 12, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Bill Strawbridge. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Preceded in death by her father, Carue Columbus Hudson Sr.; mother, Ida Lee Hudson; husbands, Eugene Roe Sr. and Wilfred "Boy" Williams Jr.; brothers, Carl Hudson, James, "J.H." Hudson and Carue Hudson Jr.; and grandson, Jeffery Edwards. Survived by her children, Danny Williams and wife Phyllis, Melvina Williams Timberlake and husband Ron, and Margaret Williams Wendt and husband Robert; grandchildren, Jay and wife Donna Williams, Jodi Williams Buckner, Jan Williams, Jill Edwards Bundy and husband Greg, Michael and wife Stacy Edwards, Daniel Wendt and William Wendt; great-grandchildren, Ashley and Logan Buckner, Danny and Joseph Williams, Madeline, Lydia and Caroline Bundy, and Emily, Ella and Sarah Edwards; and special family members, Willie Johnson, Kate Wilson, Earline Fults, Arthur Bellum and Donna Hudson.
