Arthur G. Wilkes died at a local hospital Saturday morning, Dec. 27, after and illness lasting one week.
His home was on route one out from Rockledge, where he had lived all his life. He was a young man of highest character, a loyal friend, and a loving husband and father.
Funeral service will be held this afternoon at three o'clock at the Wilkes Cemetery with Rev. Walter Flanders Officiating. Adams is in charge of interment.
Mr. Wilkes is survived by his wife Mrs. Lottie Wilkes and three children, Edward, Dorothy, and a small baby. His father J.T. Wilkes and one brother, Millard Wilkes, both of Rockledge, also survive.
