CONDUCT RITES FOR
MRS. WOOD TODAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Henry E. Wood, 76, will be held in the West Chapel at 3 o'clock this afternoon.
Mrs. Wood, who lived just off the south highway, died in a local hospital early Saturday morning.
Officiating at the services will be the Rev. C.E. Jameson, Methodist minister. Burial will be in the Carlsbad Cemetery.
Mrs. Wood, resident of Carlsbad for about 15 years, had been in ill health for more than a year. She was stricken seriously ill in November.
SURVIVORS
Surviving are her husband; two daughters, Mrs. S.M. Graves of Fort Worth, and Mrs. Susan Groene of Fresno, Calif.; two sons, Tom Wood, rancher near the PCA mine, and Frank Wood of Fort Worth; three sisters, Mrs. W.C. Bates, Carlsbad, Mrs. Sallie Bell, High Rolls, N.M., and Mrs. J.H. Montgomery, San Diego, Calif.; and two brothers, Walter Bell of Tuscola, Texas, and Henry Bell of High Rolls.
