Mrs. C. M. Caulk Taken By Death
Mrs. C. M. Caulk, 79, passed away at her home, 301 South Walnut street, Monday evening about 6:15. She had been in failing health for some time but bedfast only the last two weeks.
She is survived by her aged husband and seven children; two sons, Walter of Ft. Madison and Clark of Burlington, and five daughters, Mrs. W. R. Parker, Monta Vista, Colo, Mrs. Ed Woodsmall, West Burlington, Mrs. Arthur DeWein, Mrs. Etta Ekstrom, and Miss Mary Caulk all of Mt. Pleasant, also twenty grandchildren. Two grandsons, Joe and Edward Ekstrom were reared in the Caulk home.
Funeral services will be held at the Crane funeral home Wednesday afternoon at three-thirty. Interment will be in Richwoods cemetery.
