Lawrence Lymotte Christy, 80, has passed away at the Pemiscot Memorial Health System on March 7th, 2011.
Born in Dardanelle, Arkansas on May 19th, 1930 to Roy Lee Christy and Ora Womack Christy. Lawrence proudly served his nation in the army during the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee and Ora Christy, four brothers, Kenneth, Bobby, Royce and R.L. Christy and one sister, Lena Roger.
He leaves behind his four daughters, Linda Owen and her husband Ty of Chapmansboro, Tennessee, Debbie O'Brien and her husband Jim of Ashland City, Tennessee, Angie McCullom and her husband Steven of Belvedere, Illinois and Stephanie Higar, one brother, Donald and his wife Helen, Kennett, one sister, Wanda June White and her husband Cecil of Germantown, Tennessee, 14 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Services were held Tuesday, March 8th, 2011 at the Brimhall Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. The officiant was Brother Doug Wahls. Visitation was held at 11:00 a.m. before the service. Interment was at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Hayti.
The Brimhall Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
