She was born October 18, 1924, in Manitowoc, the daughter of Charles and Hulda (Rasmussen) Carle.
She and Donald Neuman had seven children during their marriage, Sharron Neuman, Sheboygan, Joseph (Rose) Neuman, Plymouth, Donna Neuman, Howards Grove, Nancy (Tom) Gockman, Sheboygan, Vivian Neuman, Waupaca, Pamela (Mohammad) Murakka, Milwaukee and Donny Neuman, Exter, N.H. Survivors also include a brother, Donald (Elerine) Carle, Manitowoc, and a twin brother, Carroll Carle, Two Rivers; 19 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 5-great- great-grandchildren
Caroline enjoyed her Green Bay Packers and going to Oneida.
She was married to John Prettie and they spent their time together in Park Falls until he passed away in 1996.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Dorothy A. Carle, June (Paul) Kloppenburg, and Shirley (Larry) Alfredson, and a sister-in-law, Joyce Carle.
A private family service is planned.
