Ellen rogers was the daughter of Hiram Rogers 1820 and Mary. She married George F Klock about 1856.

The couple lived in Napoli, Cattaraugus, New York. They had 12 children, 8 of whom lived to maturity.

An Earnest Christian.

Mrs. George Klock passed away on Tuesday Last.

Mrs. Ellen Rogers Klock, a widow of George Klock, senior, died at the house of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Hall, at Randolph on Tuesday, May 21, after an illness of about two months. The funeral will be held from the M. E. Church in East Randolph, Friday at 2 PM, Rev. D. H. Reid , officiating. Interment at Napoli beside the remains of her husband. The subject of this sketch was born in Elbridge, Oswego County, November 23, 1839. At the age of 17 she became the wife of George Klock, who preceded her in to the unknown by about three years. 12 children were born to them. Eight of whom survive: Hiram Klock, and Mrs. Bertha Jones of Napoli, Rhoda Tyler of Hamlet, Mrs. Eva Crawford of Petersborough, Canada, Edna Hall, Lillian, George and Fred Klock of Randolph. Mrs. Klock's early married life was spent in West Salamanca. She removed from that place, to Napoli , where she resided about 35 years, coming to this place two years ago, after the death of her husband. She was a member of the Congregational Church at Napoli and lived a sincere Christian life. She was devoted to her family and seldom cared to go from the home, preferring the companionship of husband and children to all else. The afflicted family have the sympathy of many friends.
