Ivy Walsh Eskridge, of Regency House, Decatur, passed away, March 2, 2010, having lived over 90 years. She and her husband Al Walsh were Canadians who served in The Salvation Army. When they answered the Lord's calling to musical evangelism, they moved to Atlanta and joined 1st Baptist Church, Decatur. They traveled around the country and world singing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and produced a number of recordings. Following Al's passing, she married Clay Eskridge in 1976. He preceded her in death. She was a member of Rehoboth Baptist Church since 1970 where she sang in the choir and was a faithful Sunday School Teacher for many years. She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews and one step-daughter, Linda Kimble. Celebration of Life Service will be held at Rehoboth Baptist Church on Monday, March 8, 2010 at 11:00 AM. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the church from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Arrangements by Bill Head Funeral Homes and Crematory, Lilburn/Tucker Chapel. (770) 564-2726
