Brenda Lee Barr, 54, of Walker, W.Va., died March 9, 2011, at The Arbors of Marietta. She was born in Parkersburg, a daughter of Karl William and Barbara June (Hodgkiss) Moreland of Walker.

She was a homemaker and a member of Pleasant Valley Baptist Church. She had a great love for her pets.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, William "Bill" C. Barr; sister, Beverly Law (Garry) of Parkersburg; two brothers, Russell Moreland (Julia) of Parkersburg and Ronald Moreland (Karen) of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; her god daughter, Jillian; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Delbert Hodgkiss and Mary Windland.

Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg with the Rev. Darin Crites officiating. Burial will be at Skidmore Cemetery. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Thursday.
