STRUTHERS – Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Union Baptist Church, 528 Lincoln Ave. in Youngstown for Kendall Van Green, 48, who departed this life Tuesday, March 1, 2011, at his residence.

Mr. Green was born Sept. 2, 1962, in Youngstown, a son of Frederick S. and Sandra K. Harris Green.

Mr. Green was a shipper for Hill's Department Store, had worked for Covelli Enterprises, and Cedar Point.

He was a lifelong resident of Campbell and a was a 1990 graduate of Campbell Memorial High School.

He was a former member of the Church of Hope Spiritual and attended New Castle School of Trade for refrigeration.

His hobbies included fishing, cooking and watching TV. He enjoyed life and people, and never met a stranger.

He leaves his mother of Youngstown; a sister, Minister Ledra Green of Campbell; foster brothers, Allen and Eugene Tinsley and Leonard Davenport, and his fiancee, Justine Harmon, all of Youngstown; and a close friend, Diane Beatty of Campbell.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Edward and Josettar Harris, George and Shirley Green, and Arthur and Nettie B. Comer.

Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church.

Arrangements are being handled by the F.D. Mason Memorial Funeral Home Inc.
