"Williamsport – Calvin L. Gritten, 48, of 201 S. 2nd St., Williamsport, died at 1 a.m. today in St. Elizabeth Hospital, Lafayette. He had been ill since March 1.

Born at Paxton, he had lived most of his life at Williamsport. He was employed as a core maker at Harrison Steel Casting Co. 26 years. He was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Army in the European Theater.
