Mrs. Bowdish-Ficaro died in Willamette Valley Medical Center on Tuesday, June 28, 2005. She was 83.
She was born on Nov. 30, 1921, in Springville, Utah, the daughter of Lloyd B. and Laura (Mason) Smith.
She married Bill Bowdish in 1940. They lived in Provo, Utah, until 1969, when they moved to Prescott, Ariz.
Following Mr. Bowdish's death, she married Luke Ficaro in 1983 in Prescott. After he also preceded her in death, she moved to McMinnville in 2004 to be closer to her family.
She enjoyed golfing, bowling, dancing, singing, playing bridge and spending time with her dogs and cats. The family said she always loved a good joke.
She is survived by two sons, Kevin Bowdish and Robert Bowdish, both of McMinnville; a daughter, Nicki Sipler of Prescott, Ariz.; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
