Dorothy Mohon Different, 89, of Hattiesburg, died April 30, 2012 at Windham House. Services will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, May 3, 2012 at Parkway Heights United Methodist Church followed by burial in Highland Cemetery. Her grandsons and great-grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Different was a homemaker and a member of Parkway Heights United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Paul R. Different and her parents, B.W. and Martha Emma Mohon.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Carole and Andy Hicks of Birmingham, Dianne and Jeff Jones of Atlanta; a son and daughter-in-law, Paul M. and Dianne Different of Vicksburg; five grandchildren, Michael (Paddy) Hicks, Andrea (Gene) Hunter, Kristi (Wayne) Holliman, all of Birmingham, Matthew Different of Atlanta and Mark (Lauren) Different of Vicksburg; and six great-grandchildren, Laura Beth Wooten, Chace Smith, Sawyer Smith, Kelsey Smith, Dorothy Emma Hunter and Beau Hunter, all of Birmingham.
Visitation will be Thursday from 1-2 p.m. at the church.
Mother and MeMe was dearly loved and will be missed by all.
