Sandy Creek. Isaac was one of the first school teachers in the Waterloo (now Polk) area of French Creek Twp. He lived over the line in Sandycreek Twp. His marriage announcement was in the Venango Herald 16 Feb 1822: "Married in Thursday, Feb 24th by Rev. E. Bonher, Mr. Isaac Bunnell to Miss Nelly Cannon, both of Frenchcreek Twp."
Isaac was an early Methodist at Waterloo and was one of the trustees of the Sandy Cemetery in both 1867 and 1871. He was also one of the trustees of the
church in 1868.His obit appeared in Venango Spectator 11 Jan. 1883 "Isaac Bunnell, one of the pioneers of Venango Co. died at his home in Sandycreek Twp. last Sunday afternoon in the 80th year of his age."
