SNYDER Memorial service for Marita Dale Butcher Cronin, 73, Snyder, will be at 1 p.m Friday at Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Frederick, with the Rev. Les Banks officiating.

Mrs. Cronin passed away Tuesday morning, March 8, 2011, at a Snyder nursing home.

Burial will be in the Schofield Cemetery, east of Manitou.

Marita Dale Butcher Cronin was born April 5, 1937, in Manitou, to Harry Dale and Maude E. Montgomery Butcher. She attended Manitou Public School, graduating from Manitou High School in 1955. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Stefanie and Erick Jensen, of Snyder; a grandson, Trevor Cronin Skinner, of Snyder; and three sisters and a brother-in-law: Dossie Fisher, of Manitou; Ann and Bob Woods, of Edmond; and Patsy Robertson, Wimberely, Texas; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: James and Al Butcher; and five sisters: Anita Russell, LaRue Church, Corinna Schreiner, Elsie Dale Butcher and Billie Courtney.
