Burl Dudley Hicks
LARNED- B. Dudley Hicks, 79, died Nov. 1, 1994, at Victory in Valley, Wichita.
He was born Jan. 8, 1915, at Chandler, Okla., the son of Icem and Gertrude Hutchinson Hicks. A lifetime Larned resident, he was a retired mental health technician and security worker at Larned State Hospital.
On Aug. 26, 1944, he married Eunice Lucille Shuss 1944, at Larned. She died Jan. 29, 1973. On Jan. 8, 1975 he married Nellie Gertrude Davidson at Larned. She survives.
Other survivors include: a son, Joe, Larned: two daughters, Nancy Miller, Larned, and Cindy Gilbert, Newton, Iowa: five grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Beckwith Mortuary, Larned with the Rev. Ralph Mitchell presiding, Burial will be in the Larned Cemetery.
