Blanche Beard Boatman, 68, of Mountain Home, Idaho died Nov. 24, 1989 after a long illness. She was born May 15, 1921 at Ulman to Ira and Charlotte Beard. She traveled to Idaho with her family in the 1930s and married Clyde Boatman.
They lived in Mountain Home since 1951 and Mrs. Boatman was well known as a waitress in many area restaurants. She was a member of the Christian-Baptist Church, Royal Neighbors of America and the Mountain Home Senior Citizens Center.
Survivors include three sons, Patrick Boatman of Denver, Charles Boatman of Burns, Oregon and Michael Boatman of Mountain Home, Idaho; two daughters, Marie Hancock of Las Vegas, Nev., and Vickie Aldridge of Boise, Idaho; three brothers, Calvin Beard, Byron Beard and Marvin Beard, all of Brumley; three sisters, Berniece Walker of Tulsa. Okla., Alice Kelly of Davenport, Iowa and Shirley Crowley of Bettendorf, Iowa; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
