Phyllis Jean Tucker, age 55 years, of 2601 Oakmont Court, Lexington, Ky., formerly of Adair County passed away on Saturday, Mar. 4, 2000 at 10:45 p.m. at the Hospice Care Center St. Joseph Hospital, Lexington after an illness.

She was the daughter of the late Genus R. and Mae Grimsley Tucker of Adair County.

She is survived by one sister, Joyce Steward of Lexington; one nephew, Anson Steward and his wife Brenda of Louisville; one great niece, Elizabeth Steward.

Also a host of other relatives and friends survives.

She was a member of the Trinity Life Center of Lexington and an accountant in Lexington.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, Mar 8 at 10:00 a.m. at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home with Rev. Ed Machan and Rev. Mike Smith officiating.

Interment in the Freedom Cemetery. Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home in charge of funeral arrangements.

Pallbearers were Charles Roy, Lilburn Roy, Steve Roy, Leon Huff, Paul W. Bryant, and Wayne Bryant
