Charles P. Bigelow of Clio, age 91, died Tuesday, March 7, 2011 at Maple Woods Manor in Clio. Funeral services will be held at 1PM, Friday, March 10, 2011 at the O'Guinn Family Funeral Home in Clio. Pastor Robert Soulliere officiating. Burial in Flint Memorial Park with military honors under the direction of the Gordon R. Bennett VFW Post # 1452. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2-8 PM and Friday from 11 AM until time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Charles was to the late Clarence and Margaret (Severance) Bigelow.
He married Arlene French June 2, 1940. She preceded him in death on May 6, 2004.

Charles was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran. He was also a member of the Gordon R. Bennett VFW Post # 1452 and the American Legion Post 158.

Surviving are: Daughter: Charlene Robinson of Clio, 3 sons: Kenneth Bigelow of Lucerne, Donald Bigelow of Clio and Robert Bigelow of Mt. Morris. 10 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. Brother: Arthur (Beverly) Bigelow of Mt. Morris.
Charles was also preceded in death by an infant son and 3 brothers.
