Charles Edward Foster was born April 20, 1931 to the late Felton Foster and Bernice Boozer Foster.

He departed this life Saturday, March 5, 2011 at St. Anthony's Medical Center, Morrilton.

He was married to the love of his life Ivo Henson for 59 years. He was preceded in death by his father, Felton Foster, mother Bernice Foster, one daughter, Ida Bernice Foster, one son, David Foster, two brothers, Leon and Leonard Foster.

Charles spent 21 years in the U.S. Army. He earned his BA in Business at Fort Stillicom Community College. He worked in Human Relations for PACCAR and later transferred to Kansas City with Kenworth and Dart where he retired.

He accepted Christ in Karlsruhe, Germany as a member of the Church of Christ, and served as an Elder at the 14th and L Street Church of Christ in Tacoma, WA and Lawson, MO. He was a faithful member at the Westside Church of Christ in Morrilton.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving wife, Ivo Henson Foster of Blackwell, AR, two daughters, Gail (Calvin) Griffin and Charlotte Ellison of Kansas City, MO, four grandchildren Kena Revell of Miami, FL, Calvin McIntosh, Talesa MicIntosh and Rasheed Griffin all of Kansas City, MO, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers, Ralph (Essie) Foster of St. Louis, MO, and Anthony Foster of Leavenworth, KS, three sisters, Maxine Ingram, Margaret Foster and Wilma Joyce Foster all of St. Louis, MO, a host of nephews, nieces and friends.

Funeral service for Mr. Foster will be Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Wilson & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel by Bro. Ron Murry.

Burial will be at Rose of Sharon Cemetery in Blackwell, AR.

Family visitation will be Wednesday, March 9, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
