Mom was born in Provo, Utah to George Hyrum White and Fern Ivie White. Mom was one year old when the family moved to Magna, Utah. She loved Magna and lived there for eighty-three years, and then moved to the Golden Living Retirement Center.

Our mother graduated from Cyprus High School. In 1934, she married Louis H. Fisher. Vivian was a dedicated wife, mother and homemaker. She was the epitome of cleanliness, and also the worlds' best cook. She loved her family very much. Dad died in 1967. Mom had much difficulty adjusting to her loss.

Later, she worked diligently for ten years at Smith's Drug and Food King. She loved animals, movies, dancing, and bowling. Dad and Mom bowled in many bowling leagues and won many trophies. She was an active member of the L.D.S. Church.

Vivian is survived by her daughter, Marilyn Gager Ktestakis; her son, Louis L. Fisher (Maryln); two grandchildren, Melany (Gary) Swensen, and Dick (Lisa) Fisher; five great grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Thelma Arlt; her husband; and two granddaughters, Leigh-Ann Fisher and Shirlyn Gager Combes.

We thank the Golden Living Staff for their care and kindness. And Alta Ridge in Holladay for their sweet abundant care and love.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in the Taylorsville Tenth Ward Chapel, 4950 South 1950 West. A viewing will be held one hour prior.
Interment: Valley View Memorial Park.
