Services for Jimmy Ferguson, 76, of Hempstead, were held Monday, Feb. 23, 2004 at First United Methodist Church of Hempstead, Texas with burial in the Garden of Memories Memorial Park in Lufkin, TX.
Mr. Ferguson died Friday, Feb. 20, 2004 in Hempstead, TX. He was a veteran of WW II and a dual member of Hempstead Masonic Lodge #479 and Waller Lodge #808. He was the ranch foreman for 9 Bar Ranch for 55 years and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Hempstead.
Survivors: wife, Dorothy Ferguson; sons, John Ferguson, Gary Ferguson and wife Sandy, Larry Ferguson and wife Barbara, Michael Wright and wife Terry; daughter, Deborah Whitehead and husband David; brother, Sam Ferguson and wife Joyce; sister, Winnie Sparks and husband Jim; 14 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
