R.F. Haynes died at his home in DeLand, Florida, October 19th, after several weeks' illness. The remains were brought to this place for burial. Mr. Haynes was born in this county in 1829 and lived here until a few years ago, when he moved to Florida.

He is a brother to W.D. Haynes and the father of Harry and Robert F. Haynes of Marion.
Note: Crittenden County was part of Livingston County in 1829.
