HATTIE EGBERT DIES AT 49 Monday, September 15, 1938: Death claimed Mrs, Hattie Egbert Thursda y morning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Norman Kahre near Freelandville. Mrs. Egbert had been in poor health since 1925.

A highly respected citizen she formerly resided on the Crit Cox far m southeast of Bicknell. She has made her home the past twelve years with her daughters, Mrs. Geraldine Kahre and Mrs. Earl (Bernice) Mason. She was an invalid during that time. She was united in marriage December 19, 1905 to William Stanley Egbert who survives. Mrs. Egbert was a member of the local Methodist Church and lived her entire life in Knox County receiving her education in the Wheatland schools.

Those left to mourn her passing were the above mention ed daughters and four grandchildern and the following brothers and sisters: Arthur and John B lack, Gertrude Dunn, Ethel Tade, and Grace Harrison. Three brothers and three sisters preceeded her in death.

Poindexter Funeral Home is in charge of the funeral arrangements at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Mason near Bicknell. Burial will be in the Wheatland Cemetery
