Born June 7, 1902 in Franklin, she was a daughter of John E. and Emma Sturgis Minge. She married William E. Chilcote Aug. 10, 1929 and he died Aug. 18, 1954.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Edward E. (Edith) Miller of 2150 W. Hume Rd,; three step-daughters, Maxine Loomis of Griffith, Ind., Mrs. Maxie (Eleanor) Goclik of Detroit and Mrs. F. J. (Laura) Hunt of Hemphill, Texas, a brother, John E. Minge of Dunnellon, Fla.; a granddaughter; four step-grandchildren, and 14 step-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Olivet Presbyterian Church, Lima, Daughters of America of Pilgrim Council 166, White Shrine of Jerusalem, Lima Shrine 20, Kalida Chapter 118 Order of Eastern Star and had been a nurses aide for 13 years at Lima Memorial Hospital prior to retirement.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Bayliff and Son Funeral Home, Cridersville, Rev. Aubrey R. Hancock officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight and Monday at the funeral home.
