James Boyd Roberson, 70, passed away peacefully Monday, March 7, 2011. Graveside service: 10:30 a.m. Friday in Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery with full military honors. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Laurel Land. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Jim was preceded in death by his father, Ethmer Roberson; sister, Vicki Mitchell; and son, John Boyd. Survivors: Loving wife of 46 years, Gloria Roberson; sons, Jerry Roberson, Ronny Boyd and wife, Sharon, and Terry Roberson; mother, Elaine Roberson; sister, Gayla Longnecker; 12 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
