Ruby May Bish
Ruby May Bish, daughter of James A. Short and Fannie Sells Short, was born at Indianola, Ia., on May 11, 1891, and departed this life at the McVey Nursing Home, Osceola, Ia., on November 22, 1965 at the age of 74 years, 6 months and 11 days.
Mrs. Bish spent the early part of her life in Indianola, graduating from the Indianola High School, and attended Simpson College.
In April, 1926, she was united in marriage to Edward Earl Bish at Creston, Ia., and to this union three children were born.
Mr. and Mrs. Bish resided in Warren county, Ia., until 1944 when they moved to Clarke county, Ia., near Woodburn. She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Ed of Osceola; son, Ivyl E. Bish of Woodburn; a sister, Mrs. Mabel Langfitt of Mesa, Ariz.; and a brother, Frank Short of Des Moines.
She was preceded in death by her father, mother and daughters, Irene and Maxine.
Funeral service was held at the Webster Funeral Home Friday, Nov. 26, 1965 at 1:30 p.m., Rev. Merryll Mooberry of Knoxville, Ia., officiated and interment was in Bethel Chapel cemetery.
