Russell Hinton, born [March 15, 1921] in Breckinridge Co., KY, died May 1, 1991 in Breckinridge Co., KY. Age 70. Buried St. Anthony Cemetery, Breckinridge Co., KY. Survivors: wife, Catherine Storms Hinton; sons, Eddy, Jim, Brad and Barry Hinton; daughters, Dixie Magness, Regina Rudolph and Myrna Hinton; 11 grandchildren; brother, Marvin Hinton. He was preceded in death by: a son, Mitchell Hinton who died in 1979.

BRECKINRIDGE HERALD NEWS OBITUARY – 1991:

Russell Hinton, a 70-year-old Rt. 3, Hardinsburg resident, died Wednesday, May 1, [1991] at Breckinridge Memorial Hospital following a short illness. Mr. Hinton was born on March 15, 1921 in Breckinridge County, a son of the late Frank Hinton and Teresa Crenshaw Hinton. He was a farmer, self-employed sawmill owner and operator, and a member of St. Anthony Catholic Church at Axtel. One son, Mitchell Hinton, preceded him in death in 1979. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Catherine Storms Hinton; three daughters, Mrs. Dixie Magness, Ms. Regina Rudolph, and Ms. Myrna Hinton, all of Rt. 3, Hardinsburg; four sons, Eddy, Jim, Brad, Barry Hinton, all of Rt. 3, Hardinsburg; one brother, Marvin Hinton, Rt. 3, Hardinsburg; and 11 grandchildren. The funeral was held Saturday, May 4, at the St. Anthony Catholic Church with the Rev. Tony Stevenson officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of Trent-Dowell Funeral Home in Hardinsburg. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to the American Cancer Society.
