Formerly of McKees Rocks Bottoms. Eighth-grade education. Drove a Packard. Employed with Pressed Steel Car Company—a manufacturer of freight & passenger railroad cars—for over 20 years, advancing from a messenger to a clerk/checker by 1930. Partook in religious retreats to St. Vincent College, a Catholic institution in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.
