Emily K. "G-G" Schmid, 86, of Lancaster, died Tuesday, August 08, 2006 at her residence after a lengthy illness.
Born in 1920, she was the daughter of the late John E. and Emily K. (Fisher) Moore. She was married to the late Raymond C. Schmid who died in 1975.
She was a waitress at numerous restaurants, and also was a member of the Trinity Reformed United Church of Christ in Mountville where she was also active in the "Call To Care" services.
She will be lovingly missed by 2 daughters, 1 son-in-law, 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandson, as well as 2 sisters, Blanche Helm of Columbia and Florence Findley of Mountville.
Funeral Services will be held at the Andrew T. Scheid Funeral Home, 320 Blue Rock Road, Route 999, Millersville, PA 17551, 717-872-2266 on Friday, August 11, at 10 AM with Rev. Susan M. Horst officiating. Burial will be in Millersville Mennonite Cemetery. Friends may call at Scheid's on Friday between 9 and 10 AM.
