Mrs. Irene Caylor White, age 89, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the home of her daughter, Nancy Leonard, in Greenback, who along with Irene's youngest son, Eddie Lee, served as primary caregiver for the last 35 months.

She was surrounded by her family and friends who will miss her beautiful smile and joyous laughter.

She was born on October 12, 1929 in Townsend, TN to the late Daniel Wesley Caylor and Sarah Jane (Patty) Caylor. She was a member of Island Creek Baptist Church, Madisonville. Having been widowed on three occasions, she was a loving and hardworking caregiver to her six children and to many others.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, John S. (Sam) Duckett, Rayford Lee, and Roscoe White, son-in-law Henry Kidd, son Steve Alan Duckett, grandson Steve Alan Duckett, II, two brothers Odis and Raymond Caylor, and three sisters Vola Stooksbury, Hazel Drinnen and Oca M. Carver. She is survived by daughters, Sherry Kidd, Connie (Dennis) Anderson, and Nancy (Jim) Leonard, and two sons John Duckett and Eddie Lee, step-daughter Trula (Bill) Bryant, step-son Bobby (Glenna) White, nine grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

The family is grateful for the professional and compassionate care given by Blount Memorial Hospice and Palliative Care workers.

Funeral 7:00 p.m. Thursday, Biereley-Hale Chapel, Rev. Jeremy McNally officiating. Interment 11 a.m. Friday at East Maryville Cemetery, Maryville. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Thursday at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
