Actor. He was a popular International character performer best remembered for his role as Emilio Largo in "Thunderball" (1965) and as the Italian race car owner Agostini Manetta in "Grand Prix" (1966). A veteran of over a 100 films, his credits include "Von Ryan's Express" (1965), "The Agony and the Ecstasy" (1965), "Grand Slam" (1967), "Murder in the Rue Morgue" (1971), "The Devil is a Woman" (1974) and "Holocaust 2000" (1977). He also directed several successful South American films such as "Caicara" (1950), "Tico Tico no Fuba" (1952) and "Alibi" (1969). He died of a heart attack at age 63.
