Hattie was daughter of John Happoldt and Permelia S. Hilsabeck Scott. She married William Franklin "Frank" Nichols about 1908. They were found together in the 1910 census at Bear Creek Township, Boone Co. AR with son Christopher and in the 1920 census of Cherokee Co. OK with children Christopher, Emma, Alma, and Franklin.
