We tender our heartfelt sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. J.D. FRENCH in the death of their infant, which occurred last Sunday near Moulton. [Sunday was 24 Feb 1889] Mr. F., on account of sickness, was forced to leave his seat in the legislature.

This child was the son of John Douglas French and Mary Ann Hartsell(e) French. He died sometime around the 1890's. His grave was at one time outlined with mussell shells but no trace of the grave has been located.
