Gary David Ashby, 45, of Anderson, died suddenly March 3, 2011, at Saint John's Medical Center, where he worked in the maintenance department.
Gary was born July 25, 1965, in Anderson, to David E. and Rita J. (Eshelman) Ashby.
He loved to play golf and bowl. His family and friends lovingly knew him as "G."
Gary is survived by his parents; a sister, Cheryl Fleener of Anderson; two brothers, Jeff (Michelle) Ashby of Anderson and Chris (Ashley) Patton of Yorktown; nieces and nephews, Nate, Kelsey, Jessica, Joshua, Jeremy, Marisa, Dayne and Kylie; three great-nieces: and three great-nephews.
Gary was preceded in death by his grandparents, Fred and Madaline Ashby, Joe Eshelman and Jeanne Burk.
